Andrew Van Craenenbroeck
Upon the completion of my high school career, I was fortunate to receive an immediate opportunity to join a Division I staff as a Student Manager at North Dakota State University. This was a very rewarding progression, having found success the previous two years at the AAU level. Now after spending the last four years with NDSU and having had the privilege to be part of two Summit League Championships, I find myself relishing my next opportunity.
Over the past four years I’ve been exposed to high standards and an attention to detail that has resulted in success on the court. As recently as the 2019-20 season, we found ourselves among the best in the nation with a record of 25-8. We ranked in the top 10 for steal percentage (8th), turnover percentage (5th), free throw percentage (3rd), and offensive rebounding percentage (1st). These statistics represent some of the key values we hold as a team that we believe give ourselves the best chance to compete and win.
I define myself as a person of integrity that brings a strong work ethic and a commitment to preparation. A value I hold myself to is the idea of observing without evaluating, meaning anyone you come into contact with holds the power to teach you something new. I look forward to finding my next basketball home where I can again use these values and experiences for future success.
My hope is that with the passion and detail behind the work of myself and my fellow contributors, the visitors of this site find content that can elevate their understanding of basketball, through the eyes of someone new.
